Boarding Routines

A typical day in boarding:

7.00am – Boarders wake and get ready for school

7.45am – Breakfast

8.25am – Join day pupils ready for tutor time and the day’s lessons

4.10pm – Clubs and activities, boarders can choose from any clubs or activities on offer or join homework club in the library where additional academic support is available

5.30pm – Supper

6.00pm – Return to boarding, individual study and social time

8.15pm – Evening snack and roll call

9.10pm onwards – Bedtime routines begin, graduated by age-group

Most weekends, enrichment events and activities are organised around boarders’ interests, several of these are open to day pupils as well to aid integration. Post-induction period, boarders may also request leave to visit nearby cities and are helped to make these arrangements safely.
