Our Year 10 students have been developing an impressive range of practical skills in DT this term 👏 As part of their projects, they have been exploring how to design and manufacture in a more sustainable way — repurposing materials and giving existing components a new life. One standout piece is a beautifully crafted stool made from reclaimed Oak worktop and Ash, showcasing precision, creativity and craftsmanship. Another project involved carefully dismantling a large pendant light and repurposing the LEDs into a completely new product — a fantastic example of thoughtful, sustainable design in action.

At the recent Swim England Norfolk County Championships, held at the UEA Olympic Pool, William in Year 7 achieved: 🥇 Gold — 50m Breaststroke (12-year-old category) 🥈 Silver — 100m Breaststroke 🥉 Bronze — 200m Breaststroke His times in both the 50m and 100m events have met the Swim England East Region Long Course Championship qualifying standards, so he’ll be competing at the East Region Championships in May 2026. Even more exciting — his current 50m long course time is the fastest recorded for his age across the East Region. We’re incredibly proud of his hard work and progress — well done William! 👏

🌧 EYFS have certainly made the most of the weather today. These puddles were nothing a pair of wellies and a puddle suit couldn't handle! 🌧

🌱🔍 Outdoor Science Fun! 🐞🍃 Pupils in Years 1 and 2 spent time in the outdoor classroom as part of their Science topic on living things and their habitats 🦋. Working in pairs and using magnifying glasses 🔎, the children carefully searched for signs of living things, applying what they had learned in class. They were very excited by their findings and loved discovering different homes for the creatures they found! 🐜 #CuriousMinds #YoungExplorers #NatureLearning
