Million Trees for Norfolk Project
Our Prep School Councillors have been involved with yet another outreach project within the local community. As part of the Million Trees for Norfolk Project, they worked with the Thetford Town Council Education Officer and Councillor Jermy to plant cherry blossom trees at London Road Cemetery in Thetford.
As well as the project helping to create a scenic community space, the trees will provide welcome habitats for wildlife and insects. The Prep councillors learnt about how the trees would support the environment and especially enjoyed making fat balls for the birds. It was muddy work planting the trees but that just made it all the more fun! Well done to our Prep School Councillors for yet again being model representatives of the school. As always, we are so proud of your commitment and enthusiasm.
