Numbers Day 2024

Prep School had a wonderful time celebrating Numbers Day 2024 for the NSPCC this week. Dressed in numbered clothing, the children were involved in a variety of mathematical activities including fractions with skittles, beetle drives and online problem-solving.

The day started with a fun numbers song and a challenge set to find the hidden dominoes in the playgrounds, to calculate the total number of spots and to think of number facts related to the total. Playtime was a riot of mathematical thinking! Lots of fun was had by all and we were proud to raise money for such an important charity.
